Meet Angela

Hi! Welcome to my website. My name is Angela McGinnis and I am excited to have you here. This page is to introduce you to me and my embroidery business.

Most of my adult life I have enjoyed making things look amazing. When my children were very young, I started making unique quilts for them and family members. When my children were older, I decided to go back to work. I began working at Scrubs on Wheels in Elkhart, Indiana. In order to keep up with the competition, Scrubs decided to implement an embroidery department. I knew that since I was good at sewing, I could handle this new, unique opportunity. I asked the owners to allow me to head up this new department. They said yes and we started with a single Brother Embroidery Machine.

I quickly learned the craft of embroidering names, logos, designs and pictures. I enjoyed what I was doing and took great pride in my technique. I learned everything I could about stitching, the thread needed to embroider, the computer programs and the operations of this advanced machine. I paid attention to how the machines operated and how to fix problems that arose.

My heart and soul is doing embroidery and seeing the reaction of my pleased clients. I really enjoy and take pride in my ability to embroider. My unique business name of 22 embroidery was chosen to honor my husband’s sacrifice of his treasured 22 ammunition collection. After selling his collection, he was able to purchase a Tajima embroidery machine so that I could begin my business and get back to doing what I am extremely good at and what I love doing most of all… EMBROIDERY!

No project is too big or too small! Any embroidery projects that you would have – whether it be for personal or business, it would be my pleasure to begin a lasting working relationship with you for all your embroidery needs!
